Simrock, Heinrich - Thema and 6 Variation

Heinrich  Simrock ( 1760 -18?)

Henry (Heinrich) Simrock was the brother of  the music publishers  Nikolaus Simrock. Henry was born in Bonn about 1760 and learned playing the horn like is brother. He probably played the sextette op. 81b  from Beethoven for 2 horns and string quartet for the first time.

In Paris, he was employed as horn player and teacher at the Conservatoire. Furthermore, he represented the music publihers of his brother in France. Till 1802  Simrock had been owner of a music store in Paris. He belonged to the discoverers of Beethoven in France.
