for Horn, Violin, Viola and Basso
Leopold Kohl was born at 1753. His biographical data are not clear to find out.  He went 1784 to France to get an employment as 1st blower of a horn at the court of the French king there. No more messages about Leopold Kohl are traditional after 1802.

The 6  quartets became printedly 1785 for the first time at the Printing house Sieber in Paris.
