Wilhelm Anton Lütgen
<>Quartet for Horn, Violin, Viola and Bass op.30
These nocturnes were published around 1840 by Schott in Mainz. Unfortunately, there are no bibliographical dates about the composer. The horn players could know him because of his horn quartet op.19, published in Bonn by Mompour. The work is worth to be played because it is wonderful chamber music with its interesting instrumentation and its compositional work.
This quartet was first published about 1840 in Bonn by Mompour. It was dedicated to the horn player Räuber who was member of the chapel of Prince von Lippe-Detmold. The print is in the possession of the editor and could not be find in any library.
