Peter Joachim Fick (1708 - 1743) is represented with at least 26 concerts, 6 baroque symphonies and other works in the music alien collection of the Landesbibliothek Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is from Hamburg-Altona where its ancestors were already waits. 1730 becomes a Laquay Monsieur Fick employed, 1740 once again as a court organist, at the court of Schwerin. 1743 died for Fick in Schwerin and was buried in the cathedral cloister on December 26th, 1743. Fick was not only a hard-working composer but also copyist, particularly //vivaldi sch// works which seemed to fill him with enthusiasm very much and which were handed down as copies of him. Today, one cannot in every case copies of own distinguish composition Peter J.Ficks.

Next to a Concerto a 4 for post horn, French horn and strings of a Johann Ursinus (Beer) which there is in a copy of fuck this is the second work in the music collection of the LB M V this is occupied with post horn. This is the two post horns in the voices of the horns quotedly, so the assumption lies near have the executing musicians played respectively two instruments at that time. The two post horns should this be able to become however only few hornists for today's performances, so this be blown by trumpeters in addition. The work appears in the first edition.
