Giovanni Ambrogio Reluzzi - Concerto a 4 for Horn, 2 Violin & Basso
A concerto by Giovanni Ambrogio Reluzzi, who was active in Prague around 1760. The manuscript copy originally came from the collection of Osek Monastery in northern Bohemia. This same collection also yielded, for example, the well-known Horn Concerto in E-flat major by Johann Baptist Georg Neruda — originally written for horn, but today a standard repertoire piece for trumpeters.
The horn part lies very high. For performance on the corno da caccia, an additional part in B-flat has been edited.
