Sextet in E major (DWV 284) op.15 for 2 Violins, Viola, Cello and 2 Horns
appeared in 1803 at the Munich publisher Max Falter as Opus 15 and was thus in effect Danzi time as Kapellmeister in Munich. As early as 1802 published Danzi there a sextet for oboe (or violin), 2 Violas, Cello and 2 Horns op.10. The horns, in contrast to the sextets of Beethoven and Peter Winters (ROM 106 & 107), this sextet in D major, not a solo career. For a neat chamber music, if possible, on original instruments, played with Inventions horns So, it is a charming and also for natural horn, Sex (in the best sense) manageable task.
