Johann Nepomuk Hiebesch
Concerto in E-flat for Horn and Orchestra
This horn concerto, presented here in its first printed edition, was composed by Johann Nepomuk Hiebesch (1766–1820), who served in the court music of the Oettingen-Wallerstein court. The work survives as a manuscript copy, which the court library acquired in 1858 together with the collection of the hornist Zwierzina.
