Parthia in B-flat for Wind Octet (2 Oboes, 2 Clarinets, 2 Horns, 2 Bassoons)

This three-movement wind octet survives in a copy held at the Thuringian State Archive in Rudolstadt, which took over the music collection of the Rudolstadt court. That copy names Antonio Rosetti as the composer. However, copies of the same work exist in three further collections, all of which attribute it to Hoffmeister rather than Rosetti. Prof. Sterling E. Murray, in his complete catalogue of Rosetti's works (where the piece is listed under the signature B 42 S), likewise assigns it not to Antonio Rosetti but to Hoffmeister.
