The parts were copied by Peter Joachim Fick for the court at Schwerin; his signature [P.J. Fick] appears at the bottom of the title page. Numerous copies of works by Telemann and Vivaldi, as well as compositions of his own, have survived from Fick's hand, including the Horn Concerto in E-flat major (ROM 004).
The part designations have been taken over almost unchanged. The original phrasing slurs have been retained, and only a few dynamic markings have been added in parentheses. This leaves room for a creative and individual interpretation of the work. A performance with bassoon alone as basso continuo is also highly appealing.
