Christian Gottlieb Tubel (often Tübel) was probably of Dutch origin. Dictionaries of Music recorded very little, the birth dates are unclear, he should have died in 1776 in Hamburg. On the front of the Sonata and au8ch on a piano school from 1766 he is named as the agent of the Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg. To 1760 - 1770 he lived apparently as a manager of a marble mill in Blankenburg am Harz.
Only a few compositions are obtained from Tubel, including some sonatas for harpsichord, two symphonies, a cantata. On 08/04/1757 in The Hague in Holland Tübel a concert, conductor of Brunswick-Lüneburg, is on the harp and the Pantaleon (a type of hammered dulcimer). In Amsterdam, on Tuesday, 2 May 1770 to a performance conducted by Tubel with 30 musicians and his cantata "Ino". Arnhem took place on 12.28.1771 at a concert in which Tubel played the harp.
In his Sonata a tre for 3 horns which is 1 Horn written very high, the 3rd Horn makes brilliant tones in the low register themselves outside the ordinary natural harmonic series. What mood the horns are playing, is not indicated. However, it is recommended in D horns.
